Century Training - Week 5

Total Miles Cycled in Week 4: 102.27

Mon: Upper Body Strength Routine #1; 9 miles (easy)
Tues: Lower Body Strength Routine #315 miles (pace)
Wed: Upper Body Strength Routine #2; 19 miles (brisk)
Thurs: Lower Body Strength Routine #2; Off
Fri: Upper Body Strength Routine #315 miles (pace)
Sat: 47 miles (pace)
Sun: 14 miles (pace)

Week 5 Scheduled Mileage: 119

Strength training routines at the gym: M-F, 6am
Century training rides: M-W, F, 7pm; Sat, 9am; Sun, 7:30am
Core-specific exercise routine: M, W, F after evening rides (3x per week)

  • Adding a short evening core-specific exercise routine from the March 2010 issue of Bicycling Magazine after my Monday, Wednesday and Friday rides.
